Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Using CourseQuest

CourseQuest helps you browse publicly available university course information. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the service or other users.

Course information

Course listings, meeting times, instructor details, and seat availability may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. CourseQuest is not an official university system. Always verify information and complete registration through your institution's official channels.

Accounts and saved data

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Saved schedules and degree plans are planning tools only; they do not enroll you in courses or establish academic progress.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to CourseQuest or its supporting systems. Do not use the service to collect personal data, violate another party's rights, or break applicable law.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of CourseQuest, including these terms, at any time. Continued use after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Artwork and attributions

Published CourseQuest subject catalogs use locally cropped, resized, and optimized stock photographs discovered through Openverse. Each source is marked public domain, CC0, CC BY, or CC BY-SA; attribution, license, source, and transformation details are listed in the subject-image source manifest. Creative Commons derivatives remain available under the license shown for their source. The repository also retains earlier original CourseQuest artwork and locally optimized derivatives of photographs from Pexels. Pexels photographs are used under the Pexels License. University names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners; subject artwork does not imply institutional endorsement.

No warranties

CourseQuest is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, CourseQuest is not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including the accuracy or completeness of course information on this website or the API.
