Catalog description

This class provides methods, strategies, and interventions for working with individuals with physical, motor, medical, intellectual, communicative and/or behavioral disabilities. Specific information related to the care, instruction, and programming, medical aspects and terminology, positioning, physical handling, feeding facilitation, augmentative communication, sensory integration, adaptive switches, medication therapy and life skills development for individuals with severe and profound disabilities. PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR)
