Catalog description

This class provides students with the skills to develop and adapt curriculum and instructional strategies within a multi-tiered system of support to meet the educational needs of young children who require individualized instruction. The emphasis is on providing intervention in inclusive environments. Students learn naturalistic and systematic instructional approaches to meet the needs of young children with disabilities including those with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
