Catalog description

This course introduces the basics of the impact of raw materials on food preservation and processing. The principles and current practices of processing techniques and the effects of processing parameters on product quality will be discussed. Basics of food packaging and cleaning and sanitation in processing will also be included. Prerequisites: FDSC 110 (As Offered)
