Catalog description

In this course students will learn basic anatomy, physiology, endocrinology, and biochemistry of the mammary gland; factors affecting milk yield, composition and quality; and principles and mechanics of milking machines. Students will also evaluate farm records and procedures and make recommendations for improvement and management decisions. Components: Class, Laboratory Prereqs/Coreqs: P: ANSCI 3110 and ANSCI 3200 or consent of instructor Typically Offered: Spring
