Emergent Numeracy & Mathematical Thinking

Catalog description

This course focuses on methods and materials in teaching and assessing early childhood numeracy and mathematics. Methods for facilitating early math learning using developmentally appropriate practices for learners of all abilities (birth-8 years) will be discussed. Interactions with young children in inclusive settings will provide experiential learning and teaching opportunities in preparation for clinical practice.
