Catalog description

This course focuses on research-based developmentally appropriate approaches to supporting early language development and emergent literacy for children in birth to five early childhood environments. The course objectives integrate an understanding of young children’s development from birth to five years old with developmentally appropriate and research based strategies for considering early educator-young child interactions, early care and learning experiences, and instructional strategies for emergent readers and writers.
