Introduction to Orientation and Mobility

Catalog description

This course introduces students to orientation and mobility, as well as basic assessment techniques. Using the assessment results and specific teaching techniques for visual impairments, students plan lessons in pre-cane orientation, mobility skills, non-cane mobility, and orientation cues.
