Catalog description

Students learn the anatomy of various types of cereal grains and starch chemistry, developing a knowledge of agricultural and processing technologies, including milling, baking, malting, brewing, pasta, and ready-to-eat cereals, and learning industry analytical methods for quality and food safety. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
