Safety and Sanitation prepares students to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification exam. Content focuses on the sanitation and safety issues involved with handling food through the food-service process. The course covers the causes and prevention of foodborne illnesses, laws for consumer protection, pest prevention, and the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
