Global Beverages

Catalog description

Global Beverages is an introduction to the history, culture and service of non-alcoholic beverages found around the world. Students will be exposed to beverages currently trending and back to centuries ago. Weekly tastings of different beverages will include coffee, tea, soda, kombucha and more. This course will feature industry guest speakers and potential site visits in addition to lectures and discussions. Discussions will cover economics, production, sustainability, supply chain, exportation and hospitality.
