Revenue management plays a vital role in guiding service businesses to allocate resources efficiently, understand customer behavior, stay competitive, and achieve long-term sustainability and profitability. This course provides students with the theoretical foundation and practical applications of revenue management in service industries. The course cultivates students’ revenue optimization mindset and analytical skills. Students will have the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized certification. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Articulate the fundamental concepts of revenue management in service industries. 2. Demonstrate proficiency in using Excel to analyze issues related to revenue maximization, and how they connect to other functions to achieve total revenue optimization. 3. Critique revenue management practices using quantitative and qualitative analyses. 4. Identify organizational issues, customer responses, and trends affecting revenue management practices. 5.
