The course provides the methodological foundation and strategic perspective necessary for designing impactful experimental research. We examine how experimental approaches address inference problems in strategy, emphasizing research questions where experiments offer unique contributions that complement existing methods. Students learn how different experimental designs illuminate distinct aspects of firm behavior and competitive dynamics.
