Project Management for Business

Catalog description

This course covers topics in management of business projects. Students will learn the specific skills that are required to effectively manage projects across a variety of business disciplines. The topics include project selection, scope management, team building, cost management, project scheduling, quality management, and risk management. Computer software such as Microsoft Project will be used. After this course, students will be eligible to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam. Restrictions/Requirements: junior standing.
