3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course will address the current aspects of interior design. Topics to be covered include certification laws, fire-safety and abrasions resistance requirements for furniture and fabrics, accommodations for universal access, and issues of environmentalism. Stylistically, the course will address neoornamentalism, post modernism, and deconstructionism. Additionally, students will be made aware of new composite materials, acoustic controls, and lighting types.
