3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course is designed to link child development theories, assessment, and classroom practices for infant, toddlers, and young children, birth to age three, and their families. A major emphasis of this course is to prepare students to plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally, individually, and culturally appropriate child care practices, teaching strategies and learning environments for infants, toddlers, and young children with and without disabilities. Students will apply content knowledge, skills, and dispositions in the field-based experience.
