3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s) This course provides an introduction and review of materials, methods and goals in planning, assessing, organizing and marketing nutrition for health promotion and prevention of disease. Evaluation of food and nutrition programs at state and federal levels will be conducted. The influence of cultural and socioeconomic factors on food patterns and nutritional status will be explored.
