Catalog description

Interviewing techniques, counseling theory and methods applied to nutrition counseling. Emphasis is on development of skills necessary to plan, implement, evaluate and document culturally sensitive nutritional care for individuals and groups. Includes simulated techniques and work with clients in selected settings. Prerequisite: DTN 340 ; and DTN 536 or concurrent enrollment.
