Catalog description

This course explores factors affecting the nutritional status of the community; nutritional assessment and surveillance methodologies; governmental nutrition policies and legislation; community resources. The role of the community dietitian in nutrition program planning, implementation and evaluation. Transportation required. Prerequisite: DTN 340 or concurrent enrollment; and DTN 335 or concurrent enrollment.
