Catalog description

This course is designed to assist the student in understanding the current guidelines for the different types of eating disorders (EDO) and how the Registered Dietitian (RD) may assist in their treatment. This course may be helpful to the practicing RD if they do not have a background in psychology of eating disorders. Students in related disciplines will be able to understand eating disorders and the role the dietitian would play as a member of the team. Prerequisite: DTN 240 .
