Catalog description
This course introduces students to the Nutrition Care Process, with an emphasis on Nutrition Assessment. Students will learn methods to evaluate nutritional status of individuals and populations using anthropometric, biochemical, clinical, and dietary assessment strategies. This course also covers medical terminology to provide students with foundational knowledge of terms used in healthcare settings. Prerequisite: DTN 240 .
