Catalog description
(same as MRKTNG 8830 ). Equips students with essential optimization and management science techniques for solving real-world business problems. Through hands-on experience and practical modeling exercises using Excel, students will learn key methods such as Linear Programming, Mixed-Integer Programming, Sensitivity Analysis, and Network Models. The curriculum emphasizes problem framing, spreadsheet engineering, and analytical assessment, helping students develop the skills needed to approach complex business challenges with confidence. Students will be able to create robust analytical models, interpret results effectively, and provide actionable business insights. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour s : 3 Prerequisites: May be restricted to MBA students
