Catalog description
This course provides an overview of the legal and ethical frameworks essential for navigating technology-driven business landscapes. Students will learn about data usage and privacy regulation in domestic and international contexts and have experiential opportunities to simulate ethical dilemmas through business case exercises in class. Topics covered in this course include intellectual property, emerging technologies, data storage and privacy, antitrust, and business ethics. The course will explore the civil and criminal legal elements of technology law as they pertain to the experiences of an ethical manager. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour : 1.5 Prerequisites: May be restricted to MBA students
