Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to various computer programming, analytical and automation techniques using Python that will provide students with a fundamental understanding of the language and its vast applications across industries that they will apply in future coursework and their careers. Key topics include basic concepts in computers and programming, expressions and statements, conditional execution, functions and iteration, data types and structures (e.g., strings, files, lists, dictionaries, etc.), regular expressions and commonly used libraries for data science projects. Graded on A-F basis only. Credit Hour : 1-3 Prerequisites: May be restricted to Graduate Business students only and/or students who have declared the Graduate Certificate in Accounting Data Analytics on their degree plan
