This course provides a foundation of the concepts, principles, and managerial contribution of the operations management function for manufacturing and service organizations as it relates to the global value chain. Emphasis is on the practical aspects of qualitative challenges associated with the planning, scheduling, and controlling of operations and the application of quantitative methods to the solution of strategic, tactical, and operational level problems.
