(cross-leveled with MANGMT 7010 ). This course provides a foundation of the concepts, principles, and managerial issues of the operations function in manufacturing and service organizations. Emphasis is on the planning, scheduling, and controlling of operations, including the application of quantitative methods to the solution of strategic, tactical, and operational level problems. Some sections may be restricted to Business students only and/or students in the following emphasis areas: Management, International Business-Management, Finance, International Business-Finance, and/or Business students who have declared the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) certificate.
