Introduces the wine industry of a country other than the U.S; taught onsite in the host country. Wine industry from the ground up explored–from the nurseries which propagate grapevines, to the vineyards that produce the grapes, to the wineries that produce and market the wines. Marketing of host country wines, domestically and abroad, studied. Participants must be 21 years of age to enroll. Combined lecture/lab.
