Prerequisite(s): None In this course, students explore the food system through a sustainability lens, with emphasis on purchasing, food waste management, and foodservice operations. Students learn about sustainable practices through field trips, site visits, and hands on cooking classes in food preservation, fostering a holistic understanding of sustainable food systems. Note: Students are responsible for their own transportation for field trips.
