Catalog description

This course introduces students to organizational behavior (OB) and human resource management (HRM). Students will learn theories and managerial perspectives relating to employee motivation, job attitudes, interpersonal relationships, and decision-making. These concepts will be applied to the HRM topics of job design, staffing, training, compensation, performance management, and employee relations. This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to create a positive work environment as a manager, support meaningful work, and motivate extraordinary employee performance.
