Provides exposure to various mechanical systems within a hotel, including fire suppression, heating and cooling, geothermal, kitchen and laundry equipment, surveillance systems, communication systems, alarm systems and guestroom security equipment, such as locks. Discusses guest protection and internal security for asset protection. Explores risk management and loss prevention issues and outlines OSHA regulations that apply to lodging properties.
