Catalog description
This class focuses on applying research-informed and evidence-based interventions to increase self-determination in individuals with disabilities in classroom, work, home and community settings. The course builds on the knowledge from a previous self-determination course. It will cover advanced topics such as the application of self-determination interventions for young children, transition-age students and adults with disabilities within a variety of contexts, including schools, vocational settings and postsecondary education.
