Practicum in Remedial Elements of Special Education

Catalog description

This practicum provides a structured supervised experience in selecting and using specialized methods for teaching academic skills, group management techniques and individual interventions that teach and maintain emotional, behavioral and social skills instruction to students with disabilities, and gathering data to make decisions about the effectiveness of intervention. Students will also have the opportunity to refine knowledge and skill application from previous program work.
