Medical and Technological Aspects of Working with Children with Significant Medical Needs

This course is designed to give the special educators exposure to working with children (birth through 21) who have disabilities that include significant medical issues. The role and function of special educators as team members are addressed. The role of related technology will receive extensive attention, as will issues of etiology and remediation.
