Applied Behavior Analysis Assessment and Intervention II

Catalog description

This course focuses on applying behavior principles to assessments and interventions designed to reduce interfering behaviors and increase socially significant replacement behaviors. Students select and design functional behavior assessments (e.g., descriptive and functional analyses), and interpret assessment data to determine why interfering behavior is occurring and identify replacement behaviors. Students use behavior principles to select and develop function-based behavior-change procedures, and interpret data from behavior change procedures to determine the effects of interventions.
