Catalog description

This course focuses on applying the principles of behavior to assessment and intervention for clients in need of new skills or improved skills. Students learn the importance of gathering information prior to assessment, then learn about various approaches to assessing the client's skills and preferences. Students investigate and design a variety of behavior-change procedures that promote skill acquisition, and develop skill acquisition assessments and interventions centered around the client's unique needs.
