Catalog description

The course content includes an understanding of both the theoretical and practical implementation of the appropriate instructional approaches for gifted learners. Adaptations and modifications to general methods and strategies will be included. Emphasis will be placed on the specific instructional strategies that promote appropriate academic rigor and learner independence. This course is designed to be taken by students who will be completing the gifted add-­on endorsement.
