Catalog description

This course addresses the nature and issues of visual impairments. It covers overview characteristics of and services to persons with visual impairments, including the impact of visual impairment on infant/child growth and development, child/adolescent social emotional development and family interaction patterns. It provides a framework for considering the educational, conceptual, psychosocial and physical implications of a vision impairment. Course delivery is in distance education format.
