Definitions and foundational characteristics of teaching children with disabilities accessing the general curriculum are featured. Identification, education and evaluation of academic skills and behavior of students with disabilities are presented. How family, cultural, socioeconomic, and environment impact education are discussed. Professional behavior standards are examined.
