Transitions of Learners with Disabilities

Catalog description

This course provides a detailed study of the transitions throughout the educational experience of students with disabilities, including transitions between the Individuals with Disabilities Education (IDEA, 2004) Part C and Part B services, elementary school through middle school, middle school through high school, and high school to postsecondary environments. Focus is given to the services and skills needed to support successful integration into and functioning within the routines and activities of these settings.
