PREREQUISITES: HOSP 115 Diet Therapy. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course teaches students to develop an in-depth understanding of the principles of diet therapy. Students will learn to assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop care plans, and implement a delivery system. Students will also learn documentation skills required by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
