This course explores the art of adapting stand-up comedy into a pitch for a narrative television series. Students will analyze comedians’ material for themes, characters, and world-building elements, then collaborate in groups to develop a pitch that captures the comedian’s voice in scripted form. Prerequisite(s): FI 256 or EN 266 .
