Technology Strategy

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide students the analytical tools and frameworks needed to formulate and implement strategies in technology intensive businesses. The course will cover topics such as patterns of innovation, the impact of innovation on established firms, the role of standards and government, the role of appropriable, cooperative R&D etc. The course does not require a technical background and is targeted at students interested in pursuing careers in industries with a technological component, consulting and venture capital.
