Catalog description

The courses Environments Studio II: Designing Environments for Interaction and Prototyping Lab II: Environments run in tandem to explore the spatiotemporal interactions between people, objects and spaces. In this course you will: engage critically and reflectively with key related theories and debates; establish and shape your own knowledge, understanding and position; and deepen your design literacy and contextual awareness; develop work that is tied to what is currently happening in the design field. This is a project-based studio, so you will learn through making, designing rich interactions and spatial experiences at different levels of scale within physical, digital and hybrid environments. Prerequisite: 51-265
