Catalog description

Agility between 2D, 3D and 4D mediums is essential in the changing design landscape (e.g. AI, interactive spaces and media, extended reality). In this Lab, you will be challenged to prototype in both analog and digital ways, including low-fi prototyping, rapid making, high-fidelity laser cut scale models, Rhino and Unreal Engine 3D modeling and rendering, and Unity-mediated interactions. You will build your design agility and practical skills by moving between multiple ways of thinking, making, and presenting, becoming a versatile designer. This course is a requirement for Design students who wish to study Environments during their time at SoD. Prerequisite: 51-102
