Catalog description

A detailed study of foundational computer architecture concepts and the application program interface of a modern operating system. File operations, concurrency, processes, threads, inter-process communication, synchronization, client-server programming, multi-tier programming. Prerequisite: CS 350 or equivalent. Offered at least once every academic year.
