Catalog description

This class allows students to earn college credit for supervised paid or unpaid work. Students will develop and assess individualized learning objectives, connecting on the job learning to their program of study. Through employer feedback, personal reflections, and guidance by an assigned mentor, students will develop relevant skills, desirable work habits, attitudes, and career awareness. Students must work 54 hours for each unit of work experience, up to a maximum of 6 units in one semester. Students enrolling in this course should have already secured paid or unpaid employment at a suitable worksite. Repeatable: Course is repeatable four times. Grades are P/NP Only.
