Catalog description
The study of disease pathology in the human body with a focus on the study of abnormal physiological function of body systems at the cellular level. Correlation to disease etiology and biological and physical manifestations produced by abnormal physiology, including an emphasis on the role of the nurse in managing patient care. Core course content for NURS 1 through NURS 4, nursing courses. The content of this course is content required for licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing. Course is required to be completed prior to formal admission to the Yuba College Nursing Program. (L,C) Prerequisite: BIOL 4 and BIOL 5.
