NURS 12AAdult Health I

This course focuses on the care of adult clients with health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Concepts of client-centered care, cultural sensitivity, informatics, safe practice, and professionalism are integrated throughout the course. Clinical experiences provide the advanced beginner student an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe client care to adults in a variety of settings. Prequisite: NURS-11A and NURS-11B Advisory: Students need basic keyboarding and computer literacy. Entrance Requirements: Acceptance into the Yuba College Registered Nursing Program.
