Catalog description

Instruction in vocal techniques, tone production, breathing, and diction, and their application to the art song and musical theatre repertoires, appropriate to student age and abilities. This is a noncredit course primarily but not exclusively intended for older adults as part of a life-long education providing opportunities for personal growth and development, community involvement, and skills for mental and physical well-being through creative expression of music making. Entrance Skills: Audition is required to determine the technical level of the student.
