Catalog description

Class instruction in basic guitar technique with an emphasis on left- and right-hand techniques, music reading, and ensemble performance. Students must furnish their own guitars.This is a non-credit course primarily but not exclusively intended for older adults as part of a lifelong education that provides opportunities for personal growth and development, community involvement, and skills for mental and physical well-being through the creative expression of music making.
